Position: Direct Strategic Sourcing Manager – Relocation Opportunity
Job Overview

Do you have experience leading supplier relationships and developing sourcing strategies that deliver meaningful business value? Marvin is hiring Senior and Principal Direct Commodity Agents to join our team. In this role, you'll oversee strategic sourcing and supplier management for Marvin's direct spend categories, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive sourcing initiatives, optimize supplier performance, and ensure our supply base delivers the best total value through a balance of cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and risk management.

• Manage strategic supplier partnerships, including performance, development, and ongoing relationship management

• Lead contract management activities and support negotiation of key business terms with suppliers

• Execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, ensuring alignment with business objectives

• Analyze supplier performance and provide recommendations to improve cost, quality, delivery, and overall value

• Maintain and manage the approved supplier panel by incorporating stakeholder feedback and performance data

• Partner with internal stakeholders to align sourcing activities with business needs and priorities

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, leadership, project management, or a related field

• Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills including contract-related experience

• Ability to analyze inventory usage and supplier performance to inform sourcing decisions
• Strong contract negotiation skills, including structuring, negotiating, and finalizing enterprise-level commodity agreements while managing risk and ensuring compliance is preferred
