Merchandiser, Retail

This is a full-time on-site role for an Merchant at Fay Wear Pvt. Ltd located in Gurugram. The Merchant will be responsible for supporting and guiding the team in managing product development and sourcing, and ensuring that products meet quality standards. The Merchant will also assist in coordinating with vendors and factories, managing product data and samples, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications
Worked in the fashion Industry
Candidate must be having excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
Must have at least 2 years of experience and good grip in handling styles with smaller units while maintain the set quality standards.
Proficient in computer skills, worked on any ERP system – oracle based ERP experience will be preferred.
Regular basis communication with buyer about order progress and reporting to senior with the plan of action needed.
Have excelled the team and time management skills. Should be able to navigate and coordinate with the internal team.
Regular chase-up and updating on orders in hand with store and production team for a smoother work-flow.
Knowledge of work techniques, different kind of embroideries and sourcing would be an additional helping criterion for selection.
