Accounts Senior, Accountancy Practice, Oxfordshire

A friendly, independent accountancy practice in Oxfordshire is looking to welcome an experienced Accounts Senior to the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, working directly with clients, and being part of a supportive and down-to-earth environment.

You ll be joining a growing firm that works with a broad range of owner-managed businesses, where personal service and practical advice are the focus. If you re an experienced practice accountant who enjoys getting stuck in and seeing the real impact of your work, this could be the perfect next step.

The role:

• Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

• Completing and reviewing VAT returns

• Assisting with management accounts and client reporting

• Supporting a varied portfolio of clients with day-to-day queries and advice

• Liaising directly with clients to build trusted relationships

• Using software including Xero, Quick Books and IRIS

What we re looking for:

• Solid experience in a UK accountancy practice

• AAT qualified or ACA or ACCA part or fully qualified

• Confident preparing accounts and VAT returns independently

• Personable, client-facing and happy communicating directly with business owners

• Organised and proactive with a flexible, team-focused approach
