Quantum Detectors designs and delivers advanced detector technology used in X-ray and Electron Microscopy applications at the world’s leading research facilities. Our products help scientists push the boundaries of what’s possible, from materials science to medicine to next‑gen energy research.

  • Deliver training to users after installation
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Own customer support cases from first contact to resolution
  • Escalate complex issues to engineering teams
  • Maintain clear documentation and service records
  • Spot recurring issues and work with teams to improve reliability
  • Travel internationally to research facilities (up to 50%)
What we’re looking for
  • Hands‑on experience in technical support, service, or maintenance
  • Confident with oscilloscopes, test equipment, Windows & Linux
  • Strong communicator who enjoys working with customers
  • Proactive, detail‑focused problem solver
  • Bonus: experience with scientific instrumentation, programming, or radiation safety
What we offer
  • 30 days holiday + public holidays
  • Enhanced pension
  • 35‑hour week
  • Training across installation, applications, and system integration
