As Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will spearhead the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure within a dynamic technology team. Your role includes strategic planning, hands‑on engineering, and nurturing cross‑functional collaboration to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of systems. You will lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers, support complex escalations, and drive continual service improvement.

• Lead design and architecture of on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure solutions including servers, storage, virtualization, and networking.
• Manage and maintain core infrastructure services (Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, firewalls, disaster recovery).
• Deploy and administer cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Ensure 24/7 system availability, monitor performance, and contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Implement infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Maintain monitoring and alerting systems such as Zabbix, Prometheus, or Nagios.
• Enforce security best practices and support compliance audits (ISO 27001, CE+).
• Manage, supervise, and mentor infrastructure engineers, promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or systems administration.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Power Shell, Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Proven experience in team leadership, project management, and high‑pressure environments.
• Sponsorship not available, candidate must be eligible for SC Clearance (5+ years UK Residency)
