Job Description:

The DXC Technology highly skilled and experienced Net Scaler Subject Matter Expert (SME) will join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and support of Citrix Net Scaler (now Citrix ADC) environments to ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of our enterprise applications
This role requires deep technical expertise in Net Scaler/ADC load balancing, application delivery, network optimization, and security, as well as a strong understanding of enterprise networking and virtualisation

• Design, implement, and manage Citrix Net Scaler / Citrix ADC appliances for load balancing, SSL offloading, GSLB, content switching, and application firewall (AppFW).

• Serve as the SME for all Net Scaler-related projects and initiatives.

• Monitor and optimize Net Scaler performance and availability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Net Scaler-related incidents and problems in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to design and implement secure and high‑performing application delivery solutions.

• Perform version upgrades, patches, and system maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime.

• Document architecture, configurations, processes, and procedures related to Net Scaler systems.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in configuration and access management.

• Provide guidance and training to junior engineers and operational teams on Net Scaler technologies.

• Support disaster recovery and high availability strategies related to application delivery.

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Citrix Net Scaler / Citrix ADC.

• Expertise in configuring Net Scaler features such as:

• Load Balancing

• Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)

• SSL Offloading

• Content Switching

• App Firewall (WAF)

• Authentication, Authorization, and Auditing (AAA)

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and related networking protocols.

• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Power Shell, NITRO API, Ansible).

• Familiarity with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and integration with Net Scaler a plus.

• Experience working with cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) and deploying Net Scaler VPX/BLX in hybrid cloud setups.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with monitoring tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• DV cleared

• Confident in delivering high level technical representation of issues; including conference calls and handling of technical resolution.
• Experience collaborating with 3rd party vendors and customers.
• Passionate about technology.
