Tax Manager

We are working with a well-established accountancy firm in Farnham who are seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for a qualified tax professional looking to manage a diverse client portfolio while taking a key client-facing role.

As a Tax Manager, you will oversee a varied portfolio including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and some sole traders. You will review work prepared by junior staff, ensure deadlines are met, and provide proactive advice to clients. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to take ownership and support the development of the team.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
• Provide tax planning advice tailored to client needs
• Prepare and review personal and corporate tax returns
• Review and guide work prepared by junior staff
• Ensure all deadlines are met and tax obligations are fulfilled
• Provide tax advice and planning guidance where appropriate
• Identify opportunities to add value for clients

• ATT and/or CTA qualified
• Relevant UK practice experience in tax
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
