We are recruiting a Commis Chef on a full-time, permanent basis, working 38 hours per week including alternate weekends.

Salary is £25,610 per annum D.O.E

The role of Commis Chef

You will be required to assist in the day-to-day running of a very busy production kitchen, supplying food for the restaurant in our garden centre. Duties will include the preparation of salads, soups, breakfasts, and lunch.

This role benefits from sociable hours with no split-shifts as well as alternate weekends off plus a day off in the week.

About You

You will need to have good communication and interpersonal skills as this role involves communicating with the public and overseeing our counter service, the carvery, pizza oven and patisserie counter.

Previous experience is not essential, training will be provided for the right person. An ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a close-knit team is essential as is a willingness to learn.
