Salary£45,000 per annum
Responsibilities- May from time to get involved with project work to get equipment back up to standard which would assist in helping production performance figures.
- Electrical fault‑finding skills on Baggers, Multi‑Head Weighers, and general packaging machinery would be an advantage.
- PLC fault finding and programming issues.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Pat testing.
- Respond rapidly to machinery breakdowns, diagnose the problems and perform repairs or report back to engineering team leader if external specialists are required.
- Adhere to health & safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Cable management, new installations when required, services.
- Site services experience, 240v 415v.
- Qualifications to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent ONC) Electrical, BTEC Level 3 in Electrical/Electronic engineering.
- PLC knowledge desirable but not essential.
- 17th/18th Edition.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems used in FMCG industry.
- Mechanical knowledge desirable but not essential.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery including Baggers, Multi‑heads, conveyors, packaging equipment.
- Good communication skills, and the ability to make decisions on the spot.
