Our client is looking for several experienced Reach Truck Drivers who are seeking a great opportunity. The perfect candidate will have experience working within a warehouse environment, be looking to build an ongoing career with a reputable company for the foreseeable future, and training is provided from day 1 to ensure you can integrate into the environment. We do accept Reach Truck Drivers who have previous in‑house certificates;

an assessment will be required.

• Monday to Friday
• 22:00 – 06:00
• £15.69 p/h (OT rates apply)

• Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks, to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays.
• Ensure the application of the business “key standards” are maintained.
• Ensure productivity targets are met.
• Assist with stock counts and movements.
• Assist as required within all operational work areas.
• Ensure the warehouse and loading areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times to comply with Company Policy and Health & Safety Regulations.
• General Housekeeping including sweeping/cleaning up the warehouse.
• Promote excellent working standards complying with the company BRCGS guidelines.
• Undertake any other tasks as directed by a member of the management team.

• Previous experience as a REACH DRIVER, preferably in a commercial or warehouse setting – you will be required to be assessed.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Familiarity with various types of vehicles, such as vans and flatbed trucks.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems.
• Basic understanding of Maths and English.
• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative working in a busy environment.
• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team to deliver results.

• Good communication skills with the ability to build good working relationships.

• Time management – effectively manage own time and work to deadlines.
