Estimator, Construction

Style Group is a well-established specialist partition sub-contractor, and we are seeking a motivated Estimator to join our team on a full-time basis at our Ferndown office. After completing your training there will be the opportunity for hybrid working.

This role would suit an Estimator with prior experience, ideally within the construction sector. The role requires contact with clients, design teams and main contractors, and as such, good verbal and written communication skills are essential. We are looking for an organised and driven candidate who works well as part of a team whilst also being able to work on their own initiative without guidance.

• Evaluate drawings, specifications and tender documents
• Keep estimates up to date, including amendments and revisions
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
• Maintain organised records within the CRM database, including estimates, emails, and related documentation
• Collaborate with external sales team and internal design team on new and existing estimates
• Proven experience as an Estimator in a similar role
• Previous experience within the construction industry (preferred)
• Ability to work within tight deadlines
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple quotes simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Teams
• Experience using cost estimating software would be advantageous
• Minimum 5 GCSE’s with Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
