Senior Financial Accountant

5 month FTC interim role as a Senior Financial Accountant for a large and successful organisation. Your new company A large and high-profile client based in Brimingham are currently looking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to join the team on a Fixed Term Contract for 5 months. The organisation is a very well known brand name, and they have enjoyed significant growth in recent years.

Your new role We are looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager to take ownership of key financial processes. In this role, you will lead a small team of two Financial Accountants and work closely with the Group Financial Controller to ensure the highest standards of financial reporting and compliance. You will be responsible for statutory accounting under IFRS, managing the month-end close process, and leading all consolidation work across the business.

This is a hands-on position where accuracy and attention to detail are critical, as you will play a pivotal role in delivering timely and reliable financial information to support strategic decision-making. What you'll need to succeed To succeed, you will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong technical accounting expertise and proven experience in consolidations. Leadership skills are essential, as you will guide and develop your team while maintaining a collaborative approach with senior stakeholders.

Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous, but not essential.
