Pay: $18.00/HR to $23.00/HR PLUS $2.00/HR Shift Premium
Contract: Contract To Hire!
Location: Flint, MI
PMC is looking for an Experienced Quality Technician! MUST HAVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF MEASURING DEVICES: SUCH AS CALIPERS, MICROMETERS, & HEIGHT GAGE.
SummaryA Quality Technician is responsible for testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process. Their duties include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving & Incoming Inspections
- 1st Piece / Set-Up Inspections
- In-process & Final Inspections
- Maintaining a 5S Work Environment
- Maintaining the QA File Structures & Storage
- Gage Calibration
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to regularly lift and move 10 pounds, frequently lift and move 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move 50 pounds
- Basic knowledge of measuring devices: calipers, micrometers, height gage
- Basic Mathematical
Skills:
addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals (minimum 3 places) - Basic Computer
Skills:
able to access folders, scan and save documents, type reports - Reasoning Ability: able to define a problem, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
While performing this position, the employee will occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
Safety Requirements- Safety Glasses & Steel Toe Shoes/Boots are required.
