Partner with the best
You will be responsible for designing and developing products, solutions and systems. You will show comprehensive in‑depth understanding of highly technical principles in the own part of the function. You will also display good knowledge of technical concepts in technologies that intersect with your technical space.
As a Steam Turbine and axial expander Flow Path Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Leading the design of new flow path components from conceptual to detailed phase: conduct the trade‑off analysis of the possible design options, generate 3D models and perform basic mechanical and performance analysis of the chosen solution.
Leading the mechanical integrity and performance assessment of existing and new flow path components: analyzing the functionality, life and performance of turbine components.
Leading the flow path design of non‑standard customer projects.
Performing FEM and CFD assessment of existing and new flow path components.
Executing design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles, adhering to business standards.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Be familiar with turbo machinery components.
Be a clear thinker:
Make decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information.
Demonstrate good communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams within a matrix environment.
Be able to show good problem‑solving, process improvement and analytical skills along with interpersonal and leadership skills.
Show a willingness to acquire the technical knowledge of new products.
Have knowledge of 2D and 3D Computer Aided Design packages and finite element methods tools.
Be fluent both in English and Italian.
