Altopascio (LU)
Duration: 6 months (curricular or extracurricular)
Availability:
Full time starting from January 2026
Essity, a global leader in hygiene and health, offers an internship at its Altopascio plant, where some of the most advanced hygiene and personal care products, such as Tempo and Tork brands, are produced. Your focus will be to support continuous improvement activities in production processes. The internship will provide you with valuable hands‑on experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and data‑based problem solving, laying the foundation for a successful career in industrial engineering, production or operational management.
Cosa farai

Analyze and monitor production and business processes, collecting and evaluating data to measure performance and results.
Identify improvement opportunities and propose innovative solutions, collaborating with internal teams to implement continuous improvement projects.
Participate in workshops and training activities, contributing to procedure documentation and creating training materials for the new paper mill machine.
Support operator training and promote process standardization.
Implement and maintain digital tools for production and maintenance, in line with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and continuous improvement.
Contribute to the digitization of flows through the extension of Essity Connect and collaborate with the global team to optimize the Set Point Parameter system for machine settings.

Chi sei

Students or recent graduates in Management Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (TPM or others) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Good time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
