We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support capital investment projects across multiple UK sites, with occasional involvement at European locations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in delivering engineering and facilities projects safely, accurately, and within budget.
The Role
Working closely with senior engineering leadership, you will support the planning, execution, and integration of capital projects within a manufacturing environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring effective communication, governance, and performance tracking across projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of capital investment and facilities projects from concept through to completion
* Assist with project integration into operational environments, ensuring milestones are achieved
* Lead monthly project review meetings and manage project communication updates
* Own and manage project change control processes
* Monitor project KPIs, budgets, and performance against approved plans
* Maintain and update site documentation and CAD drawings to reflect changes
* Develop and complete full project handover and turnover packages
* Support the development and improvement of site project standards and protocols
* Work collaboratively with engineering, facilities, and cross-functional teams
Skills & Experience Required
* 3–5 years’ experience in project engineering or project management
* Experience with in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred
* Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
* PRINCE2 qualification desirable
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
* AutoCAD experience beneficial (training available if required)
* Highly organised, proactive, and solution-focused
* Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
* Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform Root Cause Analysis

* Active engagement with H&S teams throughout project life cycles
