IT Support, Systems Administrator
We are looking for an IT Technician to join our IT Service department. The primary objective of this role is to deliver a high-quality support service to Turner Schools. This is principally a customer facing role predominately based at Turner Free School. Therefore, excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on quality customer service are essential.
The expected working hours will be defined in the contract, however, for guidance it will be between 8am-4pm. This role will be based at Turner Free Schooland may include occasional travel to other schools in the Trust. You will form an onsite team of 2 and benefit from being part of a wider Trust IT Department
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems
- Provide technical support to staff and students
- Assist in the school's network and security systems
- Help to implement the school's ICT strategy
- Keep up to date with the latest ICT developments and technologies
- Train staff and students on the use of ICT
Experience:
- Preferred experience in supporting and maintaining ICT systems in an educational environment
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and Google Workspace
- Experience with network administration and security
- Experience with IT project management
- Experience with training and development
