Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Folkestone for an Estates Manager. The Estates Manager will oversee the management and maintenance of properties within Creative Folkestone's portfolio, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and align with the organization's objectives. Day‑to‑day tasks include conducting regular inspections, supervising maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, managing budgets, and supporting sustainability initiatives.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders, tenants, and the wider community to ensure a high standard of service and effective property operation.

Qualifications
  • Experience in property management, facilities management, or estates management
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, compliance, and building maintenance standards
  • Strong organizational, budgeting, and financial management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and tenants
  • Proficiency in using property management systems and relevant computer software
  • Ability to multi‑task, prioritize responsibilities, and work collaboratively with a team
  • Experience in a similar role within arts or cultural organizations is a plus
  • Relevant qualifications in property management, facilities management, or a related field are desirable
