Solicitor, South of Scotland

Cullen Kilshaw is a law firm based in the South of Scotland with thirteen enterprising and dynamic offices across the Scottish Borders and Dumfries & Galloway using modern digital technology to deliver a high quality legal service to our ever expanding client base.

We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced solicitor to take on a senior role within our commercial conveyancing team.

Ideally you should have around 4 years’ post qualifying experience of successfully managing your own caseload of commercial conveyancing transactions from inception to completion. The job responsibility extends beyond a conveyancing role and will include things like Asset Purchase Agreements and Share Purchase Agreements where someone wants to buy or sell a business which may or may not own or lease property.

We are seeking an individual who possesses depth of experience dealing with the sale and purchase of rural property, crofting, renewables, agricultural holdings and general estate work. Experience with agricultural holdings and crofting legislation is highly advantageous.

You will ideally have strong technical and communication skills and enjoy working in a busy environment.

This is a very busy department and you will need to be organised and manage competing priorities.
