General Service Assistant - Defence Sector

Permanent 35 hours per week | 5 days from 7 on a rota basis | £12.21 per hour

Shift times between: 06:30 and 22:30

Aramark UK is proud to support the Defence sector, and we're looking for a General Service Assistant to join our team at Kinloss Barracks. If you're passionate about great service and want to be part of a team that makes a difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.

• As a General Service Assistant, you'll be front and centre in delivering a welcoming experience to our customers. Your day-to-day will include:
• Serve food and beverages to customers
• Clean back of house areas, crockery, and cutlery
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines, preparation, and public areas
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services
• Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
• Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during the work
• Perform daily paperwork
• Keep diligent records as required
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.

• £12.21 per hour
• 35 hours/week, 5 days from 7 on a rota basis, shift times between 06:30 to 22:30

• A friendly, customer-focused attitude
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a bonus - but not essential, full training provided
• Must be 18+
• Eligibility to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years (security clearance required)
• Food hygiene certificate - Level 2 desirable. Relevant training will be provided
• Basic numeracy skills.
• Own or reliable transport required due to remote location and limited public transport
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.
