We’re seeking an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to play a key role in shaping municipal infrastructure projects across Northern Colorado. This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact technical leadership role where you’ll influence design quality, solve complex engineering challenges, and mentor the next generation of engineers—all while working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

What You’ll Do Serve as the technical lead for municipal infrastructure projects involving water, wastewater, stormwater, roadways, and site development. Oversee design quality, constructability, and QA/QC reviews to ensure successful project delivery. Mentor and develop junior engineers while helping establish engineering best practices. Collaborate with project managers and clients to solve complex technical challenges and drive innovative solutions. Provide technical oversight during design and construction, including serving as Engineer of Record when assigned.

What We’re Looking For 15+ years of civil engineering design experience, with a strong focus on municipal infrastructure. Active Colorado PE license required. Proven experience leading technical design reviews and mentoring engineering teams. Strong knowledge of municipal water, sewer, drainage, and roadway design. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with hydraulic/hydrologic modeling tools. Northern Colorado municipal project experience is a plus!
