Keep Canlan Sports facilities clean, safe, and functional through janitorial work, floor care, grounds upkeep, and minor maintenance duties. This is an onsite position.
Canlan Sports seeks a proactive, hands-on Janitor Worker for its recreational sports complex. You will support overall upkeep across entrances, grounds, parking areas, change rooms, windows, washrooms, showers, and floors. The position also assists with ice maintenance during peak periods, short staffing, or as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform janitorial and maintenance tasks following local codes
- Clean entrances, grounds, parking lots, and surrounding property
- Complete grass cutting, edging, snow, and debris removal
- Vacuum, auto scrub, wax, and buff floors
- Assist with minor maintenance and ice maintenance
- Building Service Worker Certificate in British Columbia
- Completed high school education or equivalent is an asset
- Valid driver's license is an asset
- Commercial building janitorial experience is preferred
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and call outs
