Operate diamond-processing equipment at De Beers Group’s Gahcho Kué Mine Site, supporting safe throughput and recovery on a 14-day rotation.
This full-time contract Process Plant Operator reports to the Process Plant Supervisor. The site-based position runs two weeks in and two weeks out until June 2027. You will operate crushers, scrubbers, conveyors, pumps, thickeners, dense media separation, and recovery equipment while monitoring plant systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate crushers, rock breakers, scrubbers, conveyors, and vibrating screens
- Operate pumps, thickeners, and recovery-specific plant equipment
- Monitor equipment and systems for malfunctions
- Record process data and report plant deviations
- Maintain plant logs, reports, areas, and responsibilities
- Experience operating small mobile equipment
- Proven commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards
- Commitment to security policies and issue reporting
- Safe working practices focused on zero harm
- Availability for a 14-day on, 14-day off rotation
