Operate pouch-making machinery at ePac Flexible Packaging, using machine setup and quality control skills in a shift-flexible position. Convert laminated films into pouches meeting customer specifications.
The Pouch Operator sets up and operates machines that convert laminated films into finished pouches. You will read job specifications, adjust equipment, perform changeovers, and complete quality testing. The position also supports production reporting, documentation, and cooperative work with assistant operators.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up pouch-making machines using job specifications and run data
- Perform changeovers, roll changes, and splice removal
- Inspect dimensions, defects, and machine operation
- Complete burst, drop, and water table testing
- Maintain production reports and quality data entry
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic flexible packaging film knowledge is beneficial
- Flexible work schedule availability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
