Are you a passionate and experienced social work professional ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a dedicated Team Lead to join our dynamic Lochaber Social Work Team, based in the heart of Fort William.

As Team Lead, you will provide leadership and operational oversight to a committed team delivering high‑quality adult social care services across Lochaber. You’ll play a key role in service development, staff supervision, and ensuring best practice in line with statutory responsibilities and local priorities.

We’re Seeking Someone Who Brings
  • The post holder must hold a relevant Social Work qualification at degree level or equivalent and be registered with the SSSC as a Social Worker.
  • Educated to Masters level or equivalent experience.
  • Hold qualification in post‑qualifying practice including Adult Protection, Mental Health Officer and Practice Education or equivalent experience, with proven leadership, decision‑making and communication skills.
  • Possess a full UK driving licence (essential for travel across the Lochaber area).
  • A commitment to person‑centred, strengths‑based practice.

This post will be based at Fort William Health Centre, with a requirement to work across the Lochaber region as needed.
