Position: 2LoD Credit Risk Lead
About the role

The company is Plata, a bank providing financial services. This role owns risk data analysis across integrated risk management, focusing on credit, liquidity, FX, and strategic risks, and developing forecasting and risk models for the portfolio.

What you'll do

• Own credit risk management as a key domain and oversee related risk areas
• Develop, implement, and automate a comprehensive risk management framework
• Analyze data to identify threats to the loan portfolio and build econometric models
• Create data visualizations and presentations to communicate findings to managers
• Apply internal and external risk frameworks and ensure alignment with organizational processes

What they're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in risk and data analysis, preferably in credit
• Bachelor's in STEM, finance, or economics;
  Master’s is advantageous
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with statistical modeling experience
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (or R); knowledge of Tableau or Apache Superset and Excel
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
• English level B1 or higher for international collaboration
