What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining required entry and exit records.
• Observe vehicle, employee, visitor, and delivery activity at gates and access points; report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
