We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer with 5–7 years of software development experience to design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in software design principles, Java design patterns, enterprise integration, and Agile development methodologies. The candidate will also provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contribute to architectural improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and document high-quality software solutions following organizational standards.
• Solve complex technical problems and build reusable components, libraries, and services.
• Design scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and lead initiatives to resolve systemic technical issues.
• Identify and manage technical debt while improving existing systems.
• Anticipate scalability, latency, and system reliability challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
• Follow security best practices and collaborate with security teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Evaluate technical risks and recommend effective prevention strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote software engineering best practices.
• Identify opportunities for code reuse and reduce duplication across teams.
• Drive improvements in team development practices and delivery processes.
• Explore emerging technologies, develop prototypes, and incorporate suitable solutions into system architecture.

Required

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in software development or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
• Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML).
• Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong understanding of Java Design Patterns.
• Experience with Enterprise Integration Design Patterns.
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery Design and Development.
• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and XP methodologies.
