Front Desk Clerk

Canada’s Best Value Inn, located at 9705 Alaska Road, Fort St. John, BC V1J 1A4, is looking for 2 Front Desk Clerks. These are year-round, full–time positions. We are committed to providing 24-hour service as part of our commitment to making our guests’ visits as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

The right candidate s will provide the following services:

• Handle check-ins and check-outs. Answering incoming phone calls.
• Process payment for departing guests by cash, debit, or credit.
• Book reservations based on availability. Process requests for wake-up calls and messages.
• Activate room keys using electronic machines.
• Report accidents, injuries, or any other situation to management.
• Document any maintenance needs or guests’ complaints and submit reports to management.
• Perform any additional duties related to the front desk clerk position

We are looking for a High School Graduate with a passion for customer service who possesses computer skills and is available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills. Previous experience in similar positions would be considered an asset.

We are offering $20.00/hr, 40 hours/week
