Description
PROPAK ENERGY SERVICES is a proven established leader in engineering, fabrication, construction, and servicing of gas compression and processing facilities for the energy industry. With 40 years in the energy industry, Propak is an authorized distributor for Ariel, Endyn, Dresser-Rand, Gemini, Sullair and Mycom compressors. It is INNIO Waukesha Platinum Power Packager and a Caterpillar GCCP member.
We are currently seeking a Service Manager at our Fort. St. John Branch to provide leadership and direction to the regional sales and service team to increase sales and expand the client base.
Key Responsibilities
Work directly with management on customer concerns and help rectify issuesProvide a high level of customer serviceWork with engineers to solve warranty issuesManage projects so that they are completed on budget and on timeDocument all customer misuse or misapplication of Propak equipmentMaintain excellent documentation of mechanical services, daily labour time entry, expenses reports, parts orders, etcProvide direction to and work with sales team to increase sales and client baseDirect branch lead technicians in the coordination of service activitiesProvide support to service technicians and parts staff in all aspects of natural gas compressionProvide quoting for parts and services within the regionManage the Work Order process for all service activitiesFacilitate the invoicing of the regions parts and service activitiesDetermine and meet all staffing requirementsSupport the companies new packages in the regionComplete and submit, in a timely fashion, all paper work related to startups, servicing, warranty work, etcGenerate job leads and chase service projectsContinuously strive to reduce operating costs and improve sales potentialApply knowledge about gas compression packages (including panels, controls, instrumentation and package operation) and engine/compressor component life cyclesJudge priorities on unit repairs in terms of down time, customer importance, potential losses, and efficient working methodsQualifications
A strong background in the rotating and / or plant processing equipment field, including familiarity with packaging, fabrication, quality control and welding methods.3 to 5 years of related sales experience in the rotating and / or plant processing equipment field.A thorough understanding of mechanical and process systems with a strong emphasis on modular gas compression equipment and module processing equipment.Knowledgeable in the principles, terminology and applications of rotating and plant equipment and control systems.Propak Energy Services thanks all applicants for their interest however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
