Housekeeping Supervisor

Overview

Canada’s Best Value Inn, located at 9705 Alaska Road, Fort St. John, BC V1J 1A4, is looking for 2 Cleaning Supervisors. These are year-round, full–time positions. We are committed to providing 24-hour service as part of our commitment to making our guests’ visits as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

• Supervise the cleaning crew of 4-6 cleaners. Assign tasks and coordinate work, keep track of cleaning supplies and equipment, create work schedules, train new employees, report any equipment malfunctions or repairs to management, provide clients with invoices for services rendered, and review the final work to ensure it meets the company's standards.
• In some instances, you may also be required to perform cleaning duties.

• Completion of secondary education and a minimum of one year of experience as a cleaner are required.
• Supervisory experience is considered an asset.
• This is a physically demanding job that requires bending, lifting heavy loads, and standing for long periods.

We are offering $36.60/hr, 35 hours/week.
