Ready to run precise turning work on Okuma equipment?
Do you enjoy transforming prints with GD&T into finished parts, setting up lathes efficiently, and validating quality with advanced inspection tools? Are you confident reading G and M code and tweaking programs when needed? If this sounds like you, read on.
Role Focus Set up and operate standard CNC lathes for production runs and changeovers.
Work primarily on Okuma machines using Fanuc and Okuma controls.
Perform complex setups by following work instructions or guides; work effectively with limited supervision.
Interpret blueprints and GD&T to plan tooling, offsets, and in-process checks.
Read G and M code; make simple program edits to optimize performance and ensure part conformity.
Verify features using hand tools, an optical comparator, and CMM to meet spec.
QualificationsCNC Machinist Level 2 or 3.Proficiency with GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
Experience with CNC machine setup & changeover for production runs.
Comfortable with metrology tools from basic hand gauges to CMM and optical comparator.
Ability to read and understand G-Code and M-Code and perform simple program edits.
Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $29–$36 + Bonus plan Medical - 90% paid for with 100% reimbursement on deductible
