Multiskilled Engineer

About the Role

Sofina Foods Fraserburgh is looking for a driven Multi‑Skilled Engineer to support the performance and reliability of our production operations. This is more than just a maintenance role – it’s an opportunity to be part of a skilled team that underpins our ability to deliver high quality seafood every day.

Shift pattern:
Rotating 3‑day on/off schedule – 3 days on 0600‑1800, 3 days off, 3 days on 1000‑2200, 3 days off.

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of production equipment
• Ensure all machinery operates efficiently, safely, and in line with regulatory requirements
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime and improve line efficiency
• Uphold best practices in health, safety, and environmental compliance

• A recognised NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to work across disciplines.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Experience in an FMCG environment.
