Process Leader

Summary

Lead production operations on shift, ensuring food safety, product quality and efficient workflow across your designated area.

The Process Leader is responsible for the achievement of all production and business targets across their area of responsibility. They will achieve results through their team by coaching, developing, and supporting. They will work collaboratively with support functions including engineering, H&S, technical, supply chain, finance, training, and HR. You'll drive efficiency, maintain a safe workplace and deliver excellent results.

• Supervise production lines and coordinate workflow to meet daily output goals.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Lead, motivate, and develop production staff through effective training and performance management.
• Conduct shift handovers and maintain accurate production and incident reports.
• Manage raw material usage efficiently to minimise waste.
• Enforce Health & Safety protocols and promote a strong safety culture.
• Respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges.

• Level 3 Food Hygiene (or equivalent)
• HACCP Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Leadership experience
• Exposure to FMCG environments, BRC audit standards and being ‘audit ready’
• (desirable) Experience working in a chilled food environment
• A working understanding of Microsoft Office
