Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
• Deliver skilled nursing care across Labor & Delivery rooms, OB Triage, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU
• Perform and interpret continuous electronic fetal monitoring; active fetal monitoring certification required (C-EFM preferred; AWHONN Intermediate accepted, with C-EFM required if contract extensions meet or exceed 1 year from initial start date)
• Support family-centered care in a modern, state-of-the-art Labor & Delivery environment
• Adhere to facility attendance and compliance standards, including punctual shift clock-in with no grace period
• Complete required onboarding modules prior to start date (non-billable; typically 4–5 hours via online portal)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of current, strong Labor & Delivery RN experience
• OB Triage experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand at time of submission — no exceptions
• Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred; AWHONN Intermediate accepted
• Local travelers are welcome; rates are the same regardless of proximity to the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• C-EFM certification (preferred over AWHONN Intermediate)
• Experience working in a high-volume or expanded Labor & Delivery unit
• Familiarity with OB operating room and PACU environments
