Architect - Software Developer

** Role Overview:
** We are looking for a Data Architect with strong expertise in C#, NodeJS, and AWS Redshift to design, build, and optimize scalable data architectures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building modern data platforms, creating efficient data models, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Experience in the EdTech domain will be considered a strong advantage.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures across multiple environments (on-premises and cloud).
* Lead data modeling, data integration, and ETL/ELT pipeline design to support analytics and reporting needs.
* Work with engineering teams to build and optimize data services using C# and NodeJS.
* Develop and maintain data warehouses and marts using AWS Redshift and related AWS data ecosystem tools.
* Collaborate closely with product, analytics, and application teams to align data architecture with business objectives.
* Define and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards.
* Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of large-scale data systems.
* Mentor developers and data engineers in best practices for data infrastructure design and development.

* Basic Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering or data architecture roles.
* Strong proficiency in C# and NodeJS for data services and integrations.
* Proven experience with AWS Redshift and the broader AWS data ecosystem (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena).
* Expertise in data modeling, data architecture design, and data pipeline optimization.
* Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
* Hands-on experience with data infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design scalable and maintainable data solutions.

Qualifications:

*** Experience with in the EdTech domain or familiarity with education data models and learning analytics.
* Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI, Quick Sight, or Tableau.
* Experience with modern data lakes, data mesh, or streaming data pipelines.
