Tree Planting Crew Leader Summer 2026 – Irving Woodlands, Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada
Job DescriptionAre you ready to step into a leadership role that combines the great outdoors, meaningful work, and the chance to make a real impact? We’re looking for Crew Leaders to guide and support our tree planting teams this summer.

- Keep operations running smoothly and safely.
- Support planters with logistics, morale, and problem‑solving.
- Take pride in the success of your team and the trees you help plant.
- Leading a crew of 10‑14 tree planters with energy, focus, and accountability.
- Promoting and enforcing safety standards to ensure a safe work environment at all times.
- Maintaining high planting quality through regular coaching and follow‑up with planters.
- Managing daily job‑site operations, including logistics, troubleshooting, and crew coordination.
- Driving productivity by motivating your team to meet or exceed daily production targets.
- A clean driver’s abstract – you’ll be trusted to operate crew vehicles safely.
- Ability to obtain a class 4 licence (optional).
- Tree‑planting experience – a strong asset, but not a deal‑breaker.
- Ability to keep up in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
- Willingness to work hard outdoors in all conditions—rain or shine.
- A self‑starting attitude with the drive to motivate and lead your team.
- Strong leadership skills – you know how to guide, support, and inspire others.
