Deli Associate (P) – Walmart Canada

Position Summary:

Working as a Deli Associate at Walmart Canada is a fantastic opportunity to develop your retail skills. You will provide exemplary customer service, maintain and zone the deli area, assist with stocking, and sell goods while upholding Walmart’s values and daily standards.

• Be available on days, evenings, and weekends.
• Zone the department.
• Rotate stock and check for expired products.
• Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adhere to cold‑chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates.
• Take orders, slice, and prepare merchandise such as meat, cheese, fried chicken.
• Provide assistance to front‑end associates with price checks.
• Prepare deli food orders, utilize slicers, stackers, rotisserie oven, deep fryer, and fill prepared salads and side dishes for display.
• Keep the area neat, clean, and organized; free of fixtures, debris, foreign objects, and liquids.

• Age – 16 or older.

Minimum Pay: $16.10 per hour. Rate determined based on relevant experience.
