We are seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to lead cloud solution design and implementation across client engagements. This role will support public sector digital modernization by designing secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud infrastructure and application architectures—primarily using Microsoft Azure or AWS.

As a technical leader, you’ll work closely with solution architects, developers, security teams, and business stakeholders to align cloud strategy with enterprise goals.

• Design cloud-native and hybrid architectures aligned with business and technical requirements
• Provide guidance on cloud platform selection, provisioning, automation, and monitoring
• Lead design and migration efforts for legacy systems moving to cloud environments
• Ensure cloud solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-optimized
• Define architecture artifacts including solution diagrams, standards, and documentation
• Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
• Support cloud governance and compliance strategies, especially in public sector contexts
• Provide technical mentorship and thought leadership to project teams

Required:

• 8+ years in IT architecture roles, with at least 3 years in a cloud-focused position
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure or AWS (certification strongly preferred)
• Hands-on experience with IaaS, PaaS, and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, AKS, EKS)
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Strong understanding of networking, security, identity, and governance in the cloud
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred:

• Experience working with public sector clients and regulatory environments
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and migration best practices
• Exposure to zero-trust security models and frameworks
• Bilingual (English/French) communication skills
• Willingness to travel if required
