Devops Engineer

In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for designing, developing, and operating effective and innovative functionalities for a large-scale B2B billing system. You will contribute across the full lifecycle - from backend development with Java, Spring Boot and OPA , to implementing user-friendly frontend elements with React , optimizing database performance, and ensuring smooth deployment processes.

As a Dev Ops Engineer, you will work in an agile and cross-functional environment , collaborating closely with other developers, product owners, and stakeholders. This is a role with high responsibility, where you will not only deliver high-quality, reliable systems but also ensure system availability by taking part in the on-call service outside of office hours.

• Designing, developing, and operating innovative functionalities for a customer- and agent-facing B2B billing system
• Developing and refactoring backend components with Java, Spring Boot, and OPA
• Implementing user-friendly frontend elements with React
• Refining and optimizing database queries to enhance system performance
• Conducting code reviews to ensure high quality and alignment with technical objectives
• Performing deployment and release activities, as well as monitoring and managing system errors
• Taking responsibility for high system availability, including outside office hours as part of the on-call service

• High-level English skills (C1) are mandatory
• Strong baseline in software engineering, including Git with PR-based workflows, CI / CD practices, and SCRUM / SAFe agile methods
• Strong Java programming experience, including Spring, Spring Boot, and Maven
• Solid SQL and relational database design knowledge, ideally with PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with containers (Docker)
