Assistant Accountant (Payroll, Overheads & Excel Modelling)

Are you an organised, detail-driven accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment? At Krispy Kreme UK, we’re looking for an Assistant Accountant to take ownership of payroll, overheads, and advanced Excel modelling, helping the Finance team close processes efficiently while driving smarter, more dynamic reporting.

What you’ll do:

• Manage payroll and overhead journals, accruals, and reconciliations
• Analyse spend trends, performance vs budget, and produce insightful variance commentary
• Support month end, financial close, and audits (internal & external)
• Build, maintain, and improve complex Excel models, dashboards, and automated reporting tools
• Train and support the Accounting & Controllership team on Excel best practices

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
• 2+ years’ experience in similar roles within fast-paced environments
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
• Confident communicator who thrives in a team setting
