Salary: £23,000 per annum.

• During this 6‑year programme you will be key in supporting the business through its decision‑making and plans for future growth within Head Office, which supports all BAE Systems sectors in the UK, giving you the opportunity to make a rewarding contribution to the work we do.
• With guidance from experienced lawyers you will develop into qualified solicitors with a broad understanding of various aspects of the law and how these fit into the wider business organisation.
• You will support the provision and delivery of legal advice to key stakeholders within the wider business.
• You will conduct routine legal research and present findings to others within the business.
• You will get involved with various aspects of a legal role, developing legal and business acumen.

• LLB Law Degree
• SQE1 and SQE2 (via BPP with online sessions)

Please be aware that many roles at BAE Systems are subject to both security and export control restrictions. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard.

Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, allowing for meaningful security vetting checks.

• 5 GCSEs at grades A–C (9–4), including Maths and English
• ABB at A Level (128 UCAS points) or equivalent, OR
• Between 96–127 UCAS points PLUS a pass in the BPP admissions test, OR
• Completion of another relevant level 3 apprenticeship programme.
