Receptionist and Insurance Administrator; Part-Time

Here at Ashcroft, we are looking for a friendly and approachable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team in Frodsham. The role will involve building client and patient relationships, providing a warm and welcoming experience, answering phones and booking appointments, responding to queries via phone, in person and email, registering new clients, completing insurance claims, dispensing medications and taking payments and managing client account.

You will also be responsible for processing insurance claims, client communication, record keeping and liaising with insurance companies where needed.

• Veterinary experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with strong empathy.
• Resilient with ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations.
• Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public.
• Positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
• Use in Microsoft office and other data base management and operation systems.

• Monday - 8:15 - 5:00pm (half hour unpaid lunch) = 8.25 hours
• Tuesday - 8:15 - 4:45pm (half hour unpaid lunch) = 8 hours
• Thursday - 8:15 - 5:00pm (half hour unpaid lunch) = 8.25 hours
• Friday - 8:15 - 1:30pm (half hour unpaid lunch) = 5.25 hours
• Plus 9am
  -1:30pm on a Saturday 1 in 4 rota
