UK HR Manager
Sweet Bee Organics is a fast growing organic wellness and skincare brand with teams across the UK and US. As we scale, we are looking for an experienced UK HR Manager to own and professionalise our people function in the UK, while partnering closely with leadership to support a high performance, values led culture.
Key Responsibilities- Own all UK HR operations including recruitment support, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding
- Ensure full compliance with UK employment law, policies, and best practice
- Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees on HR matters
- Lead employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance issues
- Build and maintain clear HR policies, contracts, handbooks, and processes
- Support managers with people development, feedback, and performance frameworks
- Partner with leadership on organisational design, role clarity, and headcount planning
- Oversee payroll inputs, benefits administration, and HR systems in partnership with Finance
- Support culture, engagement, and wellbeing initiatives aligned with the Sweet Bee Organics values
- Manage external HR advisors, legal partners, and training providers as required
- Proven experience as an HR Manager preferably in a fast growing company
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Confident handling complex employee relations issues independently
- Practical, pragmatic, and commercially minded
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, founder led scale up environment
- Trusted, discreet, and highly professional
- Strong communicator who can build credibility at all levels of the business
- Key leadership support role in a rapidly scaling UK business
