Scale Man for Asphalt Plant

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Scale Man to join our asphalt plant team. The Scale Man will be responsible for accurately weighing and recording the materials used in the production of asphalt, ensuring that the mix meets the required specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of asphalt production processes and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• - Operate and maintain the scales used to weigh materials for asphalt production
• - Accurately weigh and record all materials used in the production of asphalt, including aggregates, asphalt binder, and additives
• - Monitor and adjust the scales as needed to ensure accurate measurements
• - Work closely with the plant operators to ensure that the correct materials are being used and that the asphalt mix meets the required specifications
• - Maintain detailed records of all materials used and report any discrepancies or issues to the plant manager
• - Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
• - Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures at all times

• - High school diploma or equivalent
• - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Scale Man in an asphalt plant or similar environment
• - Strong understanding of asphalt production processes and materials
• - Knowledge of weight measurement techniques and equipment
• - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• - Strong communication and teamwork skills
• - Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
• - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the plant
