The safeguarding children's team is incredibly excited to advertise the post of administrator support for the children in care team
In this role you will provide administrative support to the children in care team which includes Consultant Paediatricians and Nurses. You will work alongside the team to ensure that the health needs of children in care are met. In this role you will also work with other agencies to achieve the best health outcomes for children in care.
Main duties of the job- Support the team administrator in providing an efficient administrative support service to the Children in Care team to meet internal and external standards/performance indicators
- Provides support to Children in Care clinicians (e.g., managing clinics and diaries, organising meetings making best use of resource)
- Support the Team administrator and act as a point of contact for social worker, foster carers and third parties (e.g., other clinicians and services, GP's, health visitors) to resolve queries, respond to requests for information or notify third party of information as required by clinicians.
- To work as part of a team that work in partnership with the Local Authority to support the health needs of CIC and Young People.
- Support the Team Administrator to manage health assessment appointments for Children in Care
- Support the Team Administrator with smooth running of nominated clinics; managing and maximising capacity, cancellations & rescheduling, arranging additional clinics to ensure that the Trust meets its statutory responsibilities for Children in Care.
- Support the Team Administrator with requests internally and externally to gather information in readiness for children's health assessments.
- Provide a high-quality clinical typing service, including; clinic instructions/outcomes, minutes from meetings and populate information into report templates.
- Action tasks arising from typing; including updating systems, outcome codes and referrals to other agencies.
