Senior Quantity Surveyor

Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Permanent)
Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a leading residential contractor.

Our client is a well regarded and established contractor who operate with a number of disciplines including commercial and residential.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you would be responsible for a number of projects ranging from new build to refurbishment and extensions.

Main duties will include:

* Internal cost reports and CVR’s

* Measurement and valuation of main contract accounts and subcontract accounts

* Subcontractor procurement

* Raising sales invoices

* Payments to subcontractors

* Issue and maintain correspondence and records

To be considered, applicants must:

* Working with a contractor, either building or housing.

* JCT Design and Build, NEC and Intermediate forms of contract.

* Preparing take offs and re-measures.

* Understanding the external valuation processes.

* Preparing internal cost reports.

* Understanding changes in design and consequences to time and cost.

* Working with wider teams from various stakeholders.
