Planet Recruitment is proud to be working with a very well-respected telecommunications company that is looking to add a Voice Provisioning Engineer to their team.

The client has a provisioning engineering team based in Gateshead that consists of highly skilled voice coordinators and technical engineers.

In this position you will support internal & external teams, design and coordination of UCaaS solutions, SIP delivery, complex orders, technical support & liaison with 3rd parties providing relevant products or services, delivering BAU or complex bespoke projects.

• Project provisioning including remote system/site builds, user configuration, remote support, technical guidance to end users or engineers, project calls, escalations.
• On‑site installations of voice equipment on customers' sites, including data centres or premises.
• Assist with end‑user technical queries; carry out site & desktop technical surveys, architecture, and costing.
• Technical customer presentations, validate and sign‑off solutions, and create & approve documents such as FDS, PID, SOWs.
• Oversee project delivery by managing the end‑to‑end process, ensuring timely and quality completion of deliverables within budget constraints.

• Experience with provisioning the Mitel suite of MiVoice business products, especially MiCC & MiCollab.
• Experience with deployment of Zoom Phone, Zoom Contact Centre and the Zoom Application portfolio.
• Experience with data networking: data switch installs, VLAN configurations, router installs, server builds, Windows deployments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement in accounting processes and systems.
