Nationwide work Head Office based Northeast. £60,000 plus package.

An established and growing building services and facilities management contractor is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their delivery team on a national basis. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of mechanical projects across retail, healthcare, education, commercial, and industrial sectors, with individual project values of up to £1.5 million.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of mechanical projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This is a client-facing role requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness, and technical expertise.

• Manage mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers across multiple locations
• Plan and manage programmes, resources, and project schedules
• Maintain strict compliance with health & safety and company procedures
• Control project costs, variations, and final accounts
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams
• Ensure quality standards and client expectations are consistently achieved
• Produce regular project reports and attend progress meetings

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services or facilities management
• Strong track record delivering mechanical projects across multiple sectors
• Experience managing projects valued up to £1.5 million
• Sound technical knowledge of mechanical building services (HVAC, plumbing, plant, etc.)
• Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously on a national basis
• Good working knowledge of health & safety and CDM regulations
• Full UK driving licence
