Van Driver

Location: Lamesley

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Newcastle area. We are looking for several dedicated multi-drop van drivers to join the team.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday

Hours:

9am starts (45 hours a week)

Pay Rate: £13.31 per hour PAYE

Location:

Newcastle, NE11 0TU

Job Type: Temp to Perm

The role:

* Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver high value goods (parcels)

* Positively representing the brand, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver

* Safe loading and unloading of parcels on to a van

* Delivery of products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set time frames

* Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation, if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care

* Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver up to 100 shipments per day

Requirements:

* A valid UK driver's license

* Multi- drop experience (preferable)

* Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

* Strong communication and customer service skills.

* Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.

* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
